There are far too many Beeston juniors involved in County teams to list them all so we have only listed the players who were in county teams that won the midlands titles or competed in the nationals.
Beeston has juniors that play for Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire as well as Nottinghamshire.
2007/08
In the season 2007-8 the age qualification for county hockey became the Year of Birth (YOB) for both Boys and Girls.
In the Midlands the Girls continued the same format as before:
Friendly matches from Jan 2008 onwards.
Then Midlands Tournaments for U15s (YOB 1993 or later) and U17s (YOB 1991 or later). The winners qualifying for the National Championships.
One off U13 (YOB 1995 or later) and U14 (YOB 1994 or later) MidlandsTournaments, Notts do not enter U14 event.
In the Midlands the Boys held the following:
A one off U17 (YOB 1990 or later) Midlands Tournament in December 2007.
U15 (YOB1992 or later) and U13 (YOB1994 or later) East and West Midlands Tournaments leading to a Midlands Tournament in November 2007.
A one off U19 (YOB1989 or later) Midlands Tournament in April 2009
Jan – March 2008 an U17 (YOB1991 or later) and U15 (YOB 1993 or later) Midlands Championships run on a league round robin basis. The winners qualifying for the National Championships.
In the East the Boys held a similar Championships from Sept – Dec to those held Jan-Mar in the Midlands leading to qualification to the Nationals.

2006-2007
BOYS
The age qualification runs from September-September. There are 8 counties in the midlands.
Up to and including 2002/03 the midlands operated a league system pre Christmas for the U14s and U16s which was used to seed the counties for the Midlands Championships in February. The winners of these Championships went on to represent the Midlands at the U15 and U17 National Championships the following year. The U18s took part in a Midlands Championship tournament in April.
From 2003/04 onwards U14 and U16 Leagues operate pre Christmas resulting in midlands champions at each age group. Post Christmas until February U15 and U17 Leagues operate and the resulting champions represent The Midlands at The National U15 and U17 Counties Championships in the March of the same year. The U18s Midland Championships now take place pre Christmas in December.
Friendly county matches take place at intervals from U13 – U18 teams.
GIRLS
The age qualification runs from January - December. There are 10 counties in the midlands.
From 1999/2000 friendly matches took place between the counties at U13, U15 and U17 age groups then championships at each age group in March/April. An experimental championship was held for U14s and although it was decided to continue with this Notts competed for that year only.
From 2003/04 the U15 and U17 championships are held in February and the resulting champions represent The Midlands at the new National U15 and U17 Girls Counties Championships in the March of the same year. The U13 championships remained unchanged.
2006/07 So far 67 Beeston Juniors have played for their county.
Notts U16 Boys won the Midlands Title, the squad included Charlie Brooke, Nick Charlish, James Dexter, Sam Dixon, Felix Evans, Richard Lawrence, Chris Price, Ed Torr, Tom Vickerstaff, Sam Ward and Ian Welch. Matt Taylor and Mark Smallwood played in the East Midlands round.
Notts U18 Boys won the Midlands Championships, the squad included David Jones, Sam Cathie, John Barr, Will Torr, Ollie Willars, Sam Dixon, Sam Ward, Charlie Brooke, Ed Torr, Joe Robinson, Felix Evans and Charlie Macildowie.
2005/06: 63 Beeston Juniors played for their county.
Notts U14 Boys retained the Midlands Title, the squad included Liam Adams, Nick Charlish, Marcus Hooper, Ben Morris, Mark Smallwood, Ryan Smith, Alex Sotheran, Rob Trem, Ian Welch and Charlie Willars.
Notts U15 Boys were Midlands Champions and therefore went on to the National Championships where they finished 3rd. The squad included Charles Brooke, Nick Charlish, James Dexter, Sam Dixon, Felix Evans, Chris Price, Ed Torr, Rob Trem, Sam Ward and Ian Welch
2004/05: 68 Beeston Juniors played for their county.
Notts U14 boys were Midlands Champions the squad included Charles Brooke, James Dexter, Sam Dixon, Felix Evans, Dominic Leckie, Chris Price, Ed Torr, Rob Trem, Sam Ward, Ian Welch, Henry Godkin and Marcus Hooper
2003/04: 71 Beeston Juniors played for their county.
Notts U17 boys played at the Nationals having won the Midlands Title earlier in the season. The team included Charlie Culverwell, Tom Campbell, Aaron Cambden, Ed Harrison Gray and Iain Smallwood. Adam Dixon was unable to play because of his England commitments.
2002/03: 68 Beeston Juniors played for their county.
Notts U13 girls were Midlands Champions the team included Rebecca Morley.
2001/02: 50 Beeston Juniors played for their county.
Derbys U17 boys were National Champions the team included James Mackie and Paul Thomas. Stephen Lawrence was unable to play because of his England commitments.
2000/01: 51 Beeston Juniors played for their county.
Notts U13 girls were Midlands Champions the team included Victoria Harries, Emma Keeling & Lauren Moors.
Notts U15 boys played at the Nationals the team included Harmeet Daffu, Adam Dixon, Stephen Dockrell, Rob Earlam, Ross Hibberd, Tom Kay, James Keeling, Sam Longford, Rory McCullough, Alex Salter, Maninder Singh Soar, Adam Somekh and Jack Sykes Wood. David Griffiths was unable to play because of his England commitments.
Derbys U16 boys were Midlands Champions the team included Stephen Lawrence, James Mackie and Paul Thomas.
1999/00: 43 Beeston Juniors played for their county.
Notts U13 girls were Midlands Champions the team included Victoria Harries, Emma Keeling, Lauren Moors & Nicola Whiting.

1998/99: 39 Beeston Juniors played for their county.
