BEESTON U15 BOYS
RETAIN COUNTY LEAGUE TITLE WITH ONE MATCH TO PLAY
BeestonMK have continued to dominate the league this season. Since Christmas they have beaten Players 10-0, South Notts 8-0 and West Bridgford 4-0 and therefore earning maximum bonus points. They now cannot be overtaken by any other club and still have one match to play against Newark. This team has played very well and their results indicate the strength in depth of the club as 7 of the regular cup squad do not play in this team and there are sometimes other players unavailable. The team have scored 40 goals so far with the top scorer Ed Torr, 9 goals, unavailable for the last 2 matches Charlie Brooke and Felix Evans, 7 goals, are determined to surpass his tally in the final match against Newark.
BeestonDLB prevented West Bridgford from gaining bonus points and drew with Players 1-1. Bradley Gram Hansen very sportingly offered to play for Players in this match when they turned up with only ten. Only a superb performance by Adam Anderson in the Players goal stopped BeestonDLB from winning. This team have still to play Ashfield and Newark.
