Beeston have always played girls in their U11 teams in official tournaments and in older teams in friendly tournaments, this season saw Beeston linking with South Notts in the County U13 Girls Minis then later entering a girls team in the Lichfield Minis, reflecting the club’s development plan to offer girls the same opportunities as boys and leading eventually to the formation of Ladies League teams.
