Stix skills were introduced in by England Hockey and are a fun way of finding out how good your hockey skills are. The Awards are for anyone under 14 years old and there are four levels – Cub, Bronze, Silver and gold.
Participants complete 6 skills tests, gaining points for things like scoring goals, dribbling around cones and lifting the ball over a stick. Points for all the tests are added up giving you a final score.
Beeston offer special Stix Skills Sessions in the holidays – all participants receive a certificate, an analysis of their skills and how to improve, contact Martin or Judith if you are interested
